Midtown, New York Residence

Two original Erté prints in gorgeous Art Deco frames, part of our client's art collection were the inspiration behind the complete re-design of a pied-à-terre in Midtown, Manhattan. On the fourty-sixth floor and with wrap around views of the city, this studio had all the bones for a stunning residence. As a solution for the 600 square foot residence's lack of space for a bedroom and living room we worked with a carpenter to build a custom king size Murphy bed with exquisite detailed paneling. A hydraulic dining table that doubles as a cocktail table accommodates enjoying dinner at home and entertaining guests. When it came to selecting the color palette, furniture and art, we brought in all of the 1920's glamour with scalloped wallpaper, mixed metals, dramatic black painted hardwood floors and rich velvets textiles.
